Surprise surprise… another bathroom. This time the project was different and in a way particularly interesting. We got to this project through another RSM connection we initially were interested in working with directly, but for some reasons this opportunity didn’t materialize. Still, through them we were introduced to a property owner in Amstelveen who needed a bathroom renovation with urgency. And we’re always ready for that.

In a way, this project was business as usual. Tear down tiles and other obsolete materials, buy new materials, install them properly, adjust all ends, apply extra care for details and the result is delivered. It must be stressed that most of the communication happened through the architect, which is an interesting way to handle a project of this kind. But one of the keywords in construction is indeed flexibility, and we’re masters there.

On-site visit, appointment with owner and architect, project planning, offer accepted and off we went. Eventually, the owner became less and less available, and they gave carte blanche to the architect, who heavily supported and assisted us with this project. All in all, it can be defined as a B2B cooperation, which is also a great way to manage a construction project. It’s always good to deal with somebody who speaks our work language.

We agreed and proceeded with the following:

• Old tiles and floor removal and disposal

• Pipelines replacement

• Flooring and new tiles installation

• Removal of old building systems and replacement with new ones

• Walls and ceiling plastering and painting

• Electrical implant replacement

Again, as hinted above – business as usual here. Bathroom renovation is not necessarily our unique selling proposition (we’ve got quite a repertoire), but it’s surely a flagship of ours. We took full ownership of project, expectations, timelines, and delivered an outstanding result. See here below the first pictures…

For a construction company, to be supported by an excellent architect / interior designer is a real godsend. Needless to say, communication and cooperation with this professional here was very productive.
