Construction companies deliver a fundamental service to humankind. Look around, and everything you see was built by people like us. But we also have normal lives, and of course friends. And they know who we are and what we do, and sometimes they summon us for help.

Sorin and Alina have been a couple since a long time, and when they moved to the Netherlands they decided to go and live in the beautiful Den Haag. They purchased their property a few years ago. And at some point, there came the need to renovate their bathroom. We will never tire of stating that trust is the foundation of our work, especially when helping friends – because then there’s much more than quality and service at stake. There’s a personal relationship which is at stake here.

As we did for multiple times but for different reasons, we visited them but this time with the construction hat on our head. We had a good look at their existing bathroom, we heard them on their wishes, and together (as it always happens) we designed our go-to-plan, with full alignment on materials, costs and timelines. We still have a good memory of Alina’s enthusiasm.

We took ownership of the new project, and we proceeded with the following:

• Tiles removal and disposal

• Pipelines replacement

• Flooring

• Removal of old building systems and replacement with new ones

• Walls and ceiling plastering and painting

• Electrical implant replacement

Another bathroom, another repetition of a similar story: it starts like we already know what’s going to happen, but as we kick off the project we discover new challenges and new opportunities to conduct the project in a more effective way. Again, we’ve called this out already for multiple times in our projects: we really appreciate our customers’ real-time feedback and ideas. We essentially turn what is in their heads into something solid and actionable.

And here below, the final result. Notice their specific and peculiar taste, where instead of regular tiles they decided to go for PVC for the floor. A similar color was chosen for one of the walls, and look how cool the contrast between the WC area and the rest of the bathroom is. Alina and Sorin have surely superior taste when it comes about interior design!
