Enes’ apartment had been neglected for a long time. It was full of clutter, run-down and utterly inhabitable. But Enes had big plans for it: a complete renovation, from A to Z, to turn it into an excellent place where to live, or even a lucrative apartment to rent out.

We inspected it for a couple of times, and we prepared a detailed go-to-project plan. The level of difficulty wasn’t certainly low, since Enes’ apartment was at the eight floor of a building without lift. But a real builder isn’t going to shy away from some good heavy lifting running up and the down the stairs. This is our cross-training. We care about one thing only: getting an excellent job done. All the rest is a side.

Enes asked to be involved in all the steps, from project assessment to definition and purchasing of materials, and we accepted eagerly. We’re always happy to (more or less metaphorically) sit together with the customer and plan together with them their new house. We appreciated Enes’ expertise on the subject, which made everything easier and better.

We took ownership of the new project, and we proceeded with the following:

• Old floor demolition and removal of all clutter and even debris

• New floor installation

• Removal of old building systems and replacement with new ones, including the kitchen

• Walls and ceiling plastering and painting

• Electrical implant replacement

• Bathroom full renovation

The Complete, Professional Transformation

In the pictures below you can appreciate the sheer magnitude of our task. This time we weren’t just dealing with a more or less simple renovation of an after all not bad setup. This time it was literally about tearing everything down, and restoring that from scratch. There was literally not a single item that could be re-used, which is a bit of a double-edged sword: it allows to completely revamp an apartment and really realize the owner’s dreams, but also requires tons of new materials and side work.

Here below you can appreciate the final result. Everything was replaced and renovated with a specific attention to every detail. The floor was realized in PVC, all walls were sanded, plastered and painted. Windows’ frames and glasses were replaced and painted. A new kitchen was installed and fully checked before project completion. In the bathroom, we installed new tiles, sanded plastered and painted walls, installed a new shower, WC, sink and pipes.

The success of this project is best told by the person who lived through it. We miss Enes’ interview yet, because our customer is currently on a sabbatical enjoying life in some sunny paradise. We don’t want to bother him now that is sipping on a Caipirinha in Rio.
